Early Mustang GTs introduced a significant power increase along with other changes over previous Mustang models. A four-barrel carburetor and a new intake manifold brought power to 175 horsepower. Other power boosting improvements included a less restrictive manifold and pseudo dual exhaust, pushing horsepower to 210 in some models. This is all in addition to exterior and interior changes like more passenger seating, more trunk space and a bigger engine bay. The result was a muscle car classic.
